SAQQARA Appoints Mike Neal to Top Technology Post

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 22, 2003 - SAQQARA® Systems, Inc., a provider of catalog management software and managed services with more than 80 customers worldwide, today announced the appointment of Mike Neal as Chief Technology Officer. Mike possesses seven U.S. Patents on catalog search, catalog management, and database technologies and has been a board member of ECCMA, at that time, the governing body for UNSPSC. As CTO, he will apply his 20 years of experience in the high-tech software industry and product data management experience to expand product vision and strategy to ensure SAQQARA's leadership position in content management.

Mike Neal brings over 20 years of software architecture and product engineering management experience to SAQQARA. Neal began his career with Lockheed-Martin, where he spent seven years in advanced graphics software and user interface development. He then went on to develop and deploy software products for four start-up companies: CADIS, Inc., CogniSeis Development, Auto-trol Technology Corporation, and JavaKats, Inc. The four years prior to joining SAQQARA, he was Vice President of Engineering and then Chief Technology Officer for Requisite Technology Inc. where he co-invented BugsEye, eMerge, and RUS, and managed technical relationships with Oracle and SAP. Mike Neal is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Computer Science.
